Tuesday Musing : Fellow Blogger [http://bookjourney.net/]

Every Tuesday, I share my interesting-fellow-favorite blogger’s details. They are blogging on various topics starting from poem to book to movie to fashion to photography to anything interesting.

Sheila [Book Journey] This is one of those blogs which inspires me to read books in mass. I have started following Book Journey when I was very new to blogging world. Author of blog, Sheila, is bookaholic which reflects in book journey. If you are an Avid reader, you must have to follow “Book Journey“.

About Book Journey / Sheila from her blog:

I am a book lover, mom of two wonderful grown boys (one who just graduated from 4 years in the Navy and one in who just finished College for Graphic Design) and wife of an incredibly patient and loving man named Al.  He is my Super Hero.   Non Fiction.

I live in Central Minnesota.  No I don’t say “ayyyyy” or “you betcha”…. unless I am being sarcastic.  Which NEVER happens.  Ok.. maybe sometimes. 😉

I believe in Living Life To The Fullest, Jesus and The Bible, laughing until my sides hurt, family first, making time for friends, working hard and playing hard, team sports, stretching myself to the limit, saying yes to good adventures, books that make me think and books that make me feel, if you are going for the ice cream cone – GO BIG, bucket lists, doing something new each day, believing in your dreams, reading in the sunshine, playing in the rain, the magical powers of CHOCOLATE,  finding the opportunities in everything, learning something new, making memories, and curly fries are better than plain fries.

I am a lifetime bookaholic and proud of it.  I have had my nose stuck in a book since I was 5.  In grade school I won the bookworm award. I also won the Oscar the Grouch award because my desk in grade school looked like a trash can but really…. need we split hairs?

Most recently I left my job of 10 years to follow what I truly love doing… writing.  I am working on a book currently, write for several magazines, and Freelance my skills for writing articles, reviews, blogging and more.  I absolutely love it.

My dream for this blog is for it to be a place that you can find humor, bookish discussions, a next great read, and a virtual cup of coffee.  Cream and sugar optional.

Stop by often – there’s always good conversation and I would love to chat with all of you!

Excerpt from Book:

Love = Sex? Love+Sex=? Love-Sex=??? Sex-Love=????

This is not a book to teach you about love or how to get a beautiful girl to bed, rather it reveals how bad things can get if you don’t set your priorities right. It’s a story about the most explored life aspect ‘ Love’ ‘Sex’.

YUVI, a pleasure seeking boy, falls victim to the same notorious life facet called love. Simran’s beauty sweeps him off from his feet and he leaves no stone unturned to seek her special attention.

As he falls in love, he also sleeps around with all the erroneous girls, and when his fate threatens to take his love down, he promises himself to stop all of this and come out of the wreckage … But then, his past deeds come back to his present, and that tears his life apart. What follows is an uneasy course of getting his love back on board.

The story reveals the life of today’s youth, their friendships, feelings, priorities, and ineptitude to handle relationships while not forgetting their turmoil between the two critical facets of life: LOVE & SEX.

Love makes the world go round … Or is it Sex? Based on real life experiences and tea time gossips.

There are many boys who fall for beautiful girl but cannot stop flirting with other girls. I came across one of such guy who said once to me, “There is always goal keeper at goal-post but still goal goes inside it. Same thing applies to girl as well”. You must be thinking, what a cheap mentality? But still there are lots of girls falling for that guy as he is smart, good-looking, humorous and always throws cheesy line. Girls who fall for him are so convinced that this boy cannot do anything wrong with them. Even after wrong thing happened to them, this kind of guy come out so easily with innocent face/good story and girls believe in those stories (I have met those girls as well and tried to warn them but oops, poor girls). These kind of guys have 2 faces: true face when they are with friends and fake face when they are with girls.

Author focused on such guys and Protagonist of this novel – Yuvi is one of those guys but here, (eventually) he realize his mistakes and tries to resolve the things but his past deeds tears his life apart. This book is about guy’s perspective on love and how they actually deal with his love and lust. There are good guys as well, so do not consider every guy is like Yuvi but if you want to understand mentality of such guy, then read this book. Overall enjoyable novel.

Note: I received a copy of book from Author and I am very much thankful to him for same.
